What is your hourly rate?

I charge $200/hr. Animal portraits are subject to flat-rate pricing which starts at $1200 and will vary depending on subject, size, etc.

What does it mean if I don't get an appointment after I submit my tattoo request?

If you don't hear from me, it means that I did not have the availability left to book you in. It may take multiple rounds before I accept your idea, so I encourage you to apply again next time my books open for applications.

Will you let me know if my tattoo design is something you are not interested in doing, so I can find a different artist?

Yes, the last thing I want to do is waste your time. I will email you to let you know that I am not interested in your tattoo idea.

Should I use a numbing cream?

No, I don't recommend you use a numbing cream as it can make it difficult to put the ink into the skin. Fine line tattoos are much easier going on the skin than a traditional tattoo, so the pain is usually very manageable.

Can I see my drawn up design before my appointment?

No. We will go over the design at the beginning of your appointment. Some of my tattoos I will draw directly on the skin, so drawing up a design prior to your appointment is not necessary.

Do you have a waitlist/cancellation list?

No, I do not have a waitlist/cancellation list you can join.

Who is unable to get tattooed?

Those who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or on Accutane treatment.

Can I submit my tattoo design via email or Instagram DMs before books open to get a quote and get booked in?

No, please apply through the booking link when books open. We don't accept email or DM applications before then. When you apply, and if you are selected, you'll be provided with a more exact quote then.

If I submit my design when your books open, does that mean I am guaranteed an appointment?

No, unfortunately I cannot book everyone who submits their tattoo design. Please know I try my best to fit everyone in my schedule, but I only have so many available appointments per booking period.

How can I increase my chances of getting selected when your books open?

Make sure your design is within my scope of work and a priority project of mine at this time. Make sure you complete the intake form properly and completely. Make sure your reference photos (especially animal portraits) are high quality, clear, and have good lighting. Keep your description short, clear, and to the point. If your budget is very unreasonable for the design you are wanting you will not be selected.

What subject/style of tattoos will you accept?

I prioritize small-scale realism, animal portraits, large-scale florals/botanicals, ornamental/jewelry, and script. Tattoo placements/subject matter that I DO NOT accept are:  hands/fingers, feet, face, neck snakes, dragons, finger prints, and cover-ups. *There may be some exceptions

Do you do scar coverups?

Yes, depending on how long the scar has been healed for. I prefer to tattoo over a scar that's been healed a minimum of 1 year.

Do you offer in person or virtual consultations?

No, I do not do consultations. We can chat over email and make small tweaks to your design during your appointment. I will request a consultation if I think it is absolutely necesary.

I am 17yrs old, can I get a tattoo from you with parental consent?

No, you must be 18+ to get a tattoo from me.

Will you add to another artists tattoo that has already been started on my body?

This really depends on the style of the tattoo and if it matches my style. When you apply, make sure to include reference photos of your current tattoo. These projects are not a priority to me at this time.

What flowers will you NOT tattoo?

CarnationChrysanthemumLily of the valleyMarigold, DaffodilsHydrangea, TulipOrchidPansyIrisGladiolusCalla lilyLarkspurThistle. * There may be some exceptions
